Hey there! I’m Buffy Flagg, a longtime pro in retail buying and merchandising (35+ years, but who’s counting?). I’ve always loved creating spaces that just feel good—taking what looks like chaos and turning it into calm.
Your home should be your safe place, not a stress zone (this should be illegal, really). And its hard to feel at ease - both in and outside the home - when you’re surrounded by clutter. This is why I love helping people learn how to organize efficiently and properly, so they can spend their days doing what they love.
My journey started back in 1989 when I dreamed of being a tailor—until my awesome textile teacher gently steered me toward design and merchandising - ooo yes this is me! - I knew. That led me to a career buying for ski resorts and doing visual merchandising for retail shops. I fell in love with creating little vignettes that spark memories and make people feel something special.
I've spent years helping families and businesses cut the clutter and waste less — more stuff doesn’t mean more happiness or bigger profits. A messy space equals a messy mind, and studies back it up—clutter fuels stress and anxiety (even if you don’t notice it). But here’s the good news: once it’s gone, you won’t miss it. Pinky promise.

anxiety inducing closet
I can't recommend Buffy at the healthy home enough! I am a procrastinator at heart and would rather be doing outside yard work than inside organizing my house. was hesitant to let someone into my house and see the massive clutter in my walk in closet, but from the moment I met her my anxiety melted away. I was very thrilled to hear that she would not be throwing anything away, just
reorganizing. I did ask her to make a pile of a certain size I would no longer be fitting into. Along with that pile she also made groupings that I could very easily go through of broken, torn or ones of (like one shoe). This made it
super easy for me to either throw away myself or donate. She spent two days scrubbing and organizing my closet and let me tell you, I should have reached out much sooner. the healthy home did an amazing job at reorganizing my pantry. Her detailed work is flawless. She met all of my goals and reused items in my home, such as baskets, metal boxes so that I did not have to buy new storage bins. Her ideas were beyond my limited thinking. I am so proud of my pantry now. It was terribly small and cluttered. But because of Buffy's ability to design and rearrange things we have more space than I could have dreamed of.
